Luigi Bisanti, flautist, he graduated in flute with honors from the State Music Conservatory "Tito Schipa" of Lecce and in flute transverse with honors from the State Conservatory of Music "N. Piccinni" of Bari.
Later he studied with the Masters: Angelo Persichilli at the Academy of Città di Castello, Andras Adorjan at the Academy of Lausanne (Switzerland), Maxence Larrieu, Marcello Gatti (Transverse and Early Music) Peter Cartosio, Dario Lo Cicero, Livia Caffagni (Flute). Winner as a soloist and member of chamber ensembles in numerous competitions, including in 1991, the testing and qualifications of the Ministry of Education for teaching flute in the State Music Conservatories. He been a first flute in orchestras opera-symphony: Symphony Orchestra of the Province of Lecce, the Chamber Orchestra of the Foundation Concert of Salento, the International Orchestra of Italy, ICO Foundation "T. Schipa", International Orchestra of Magna Graecia. He received laudable praises from directors such as: G.Kuhn, V.Delman, D. Renzzetti, P. Bellugi, A. Guadagno, F. Mannino, M. Rota, N. Samale, B. Rigacci, F. Caracciolo, B. Aprea, N. Annovazzi, A. Monetti, L. Ricci Muti, M. De Bernart, M. Marvulli, A. Zedda, H. Mykael, O. Ziino, M. Erede, A. Zecchi, P. Steinberg, M. Pradella, K. A. Richembacher, ecc.
He played and recorded CDs with the highest performers on the international scene: U. Ughi, P. Amoial, P. Kogan, P. Camicia, B. Lupo,  A. Bacchelli, B. Canino, P. Spada, F. Libetta, A. Diaz,  M. Mayski, F. Maggio Ormezosky, R. Bruson, R. Kabaianska, C. Gasdia, M. Freni, E. Dara, M. Del Monaco, J. Cura, has run the most important concerts of the flute repertoire for flute and orchestra. He has recorded several live CDs including one for MMS in the hall of Hocschule fur Musik in Monaco. He was an interpreter of world premieres of contemporary works and new editions in modern times of the works of XVII and XVIII sec. performed with period instruments. He has recorded for "DAD records" two CDs with original music of the Neapolitan school of the eighteenth century and music of the madrigal of Lecce by Diego Personè (XVII sec.).
He was invited by the Festival of Nations in Citta di Castello as an interpreter for the premiere of "The sea of voices" by Salvatore Sciarrino, August 27th, 2000 with live recording on CD.
He also made recordings for RAI, SUISSE ROMANDE Switzerland and various private channels. He has participated in important music festivals: "Festival of Valle d'Itria", "Meeting dell’Amicizia" of Rimini and so on. He been invited to prestigious concert Institutions including: Hocschule fur Musik in Monaco; Camerata Musicale Salentina, Murgantina Academy, Theatre Rendano of Cosenza, Petruzzelli Theatre of Bari, Politeama Theatre of Lecce, Stabile Theatre of Potenza, Pugliese Public Theater, "Florence Chamber Music Festival" in Florence. He has received favorable criticism on major newspapers and magazines: "... virtuoso flutist from the sound very clear and expressive..." L. Cosi from La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, "... wonderful flutist ..." E. Valente on The Unit, etc. His students are winners of major national and international flute competitions.
He been a professor of flute at various State Conservatories. He has taught three-years courses and master classes in the school of music "Harmonium" of Cavallino, Province of Lecce, and had as guest lecturers internationally renowned flutists such as: Maxence Larrieu, M. Mercelli, Angelo Persichilli, Michele Marasco, with which he played in a trio (two fl. and pf.)
He founded the Conservatory "T. Schipa" of Lecce Ensemble of the flute "Fortunae Flatus", which is the director.
Since 2007 he has been teaching the summer courses of VC Querceto Montecatini in Tuscany.
He is teacher of Flute and teaches in the Master's degree programs at the Conservatory of Music Satatale "Tito Schipa" of Lecce.

He oversaw the restoration of a historic flute, the only one that currently exists, the manufacturer's "Lion in Lecce", which was owned by a family of highly qualified manufacturers of wind instruments of the nineteenth century. Following the restoration has performed solo and in various chamber music ensembles, giving new life to an artistic instrument that does not "played" for over a century. He has performed numerous concerts with original instruments at major institutions including: International Festival of Baroque of Lecce, International Festival of Early Music of Urbino, "Casa Piccinni" of Bari, the "International Festival of Early Music Madonie" (Polizzi Generosa), Library Casanatense Vallicelliana and Library of Rome, Italian Historic Houses Association, Conservatory E. R. Duni of Matera, Univrsità of Salento, the "Festival of the eighteenth century", Lecce, Roma, Treviso.
Since 2001 he has taught courses in ancient music at the festival "The Montesardo" City of Alessano.
He been a teacher of recorder at the Conservatory Pierluigi da Palestrina of Cagliari (Three Year) as part of the "Laboratory of Baroque Music" and at the Conservatory "F. Torrefranca" of Vibo Valentia. He been a teacher of Flute at Becco and vocal and instrumental ensemble music at the Conservatory "T. Schipa" of Lecce in the Department of Early Music, three-years and two-years courses of specialization.
